Max Versace

Max received his BA-MA in Experimental Psychology from the University of Trieste, Italy and his PhD from the Department of Cognitive and Neural Systems at Boston University, where he is currently Project Coordinator and Senior Investigator of the DARPA SyNAPSE project. His research interests are focused on neural networks – in particular applied to spiking-based neural models of learning and memory in the cerebral cortex.  Max is also involved in the development of a software package for advanced neurosimulations, KInNeSS. With a few colleagues, he founded Neurala LLC in 2006 to commercialize brain-based software for image processing. For more info, visit www.maxversace.com
