The chip is now being embedded in mainstream cell phones, and if it does not work in tough, difficult to predict real life conditions, then it does not. But if it does, then it does.... Thank God, no need to think hard this time, reality will tell. </description>

		<description>Is the auditory system really that well understood? Is any brain system that well understood? It would be pretty amusing, for instance, to see an analogous chip for human vision. In my experience, it takes minimal thought to break almost any computational model of the brain.
